Chef Burak's Dream
Ferah's founding chef, Burak Ozcan, discovered his love of cooking at a young age and attended one of Turkey's top culinary schools. After interning and working in some of the most prestigious five-star resorts across the Mediterranean, he made his way to Dallas in 2009. He quickly fell in love with Texas cuisine and found unique ways to combine his Mediterranean roots with Southwestern flair.

Burak & Jeremy Meet
Burak met his future business partner, Jeremy Berlin, while working together at award-winning full-service hotels in Dallas-Fort Worth. Burak shared his dream of opening a restaurant with Jeremy and they knew they had to join forces (and talents) in this entrepreneurial adventure.

Ferah Garland Opens
Combining Chef Burak's unique Tex-Med cuisine concept with the duo's hospitality expertise, Ferah Tex-Med Kitchen's original location opened in June of 2019 at Firewheel Town Center in Garland, Texas.

Ferah Southlake Opens
The Berlin and Ozcan families knew they wanted to expand and bring their unique dining experience to more foodies across DFW. After exploring dozens of properties, they found the perfect space to open their second location in Southlake Town Square in July of 2022.
